Our Community
"Coming together is a beginning, staying together is a progress, and working together is success"
~Henry Ford~
Union Heritage Capital Management has a strong commitment to have a presence in our community. As part of that commitment and our passion, we focus on three primary areas: Education, Hunger/Homelessness and Health and Wellness.
Education:
UHCM empowers our youth to become better individuals, by providing resources which promote financial literacy in our community.
- Adopt-a-School Program: Each year UHCM staff adopts a class of 7th graders to teach financial literacy. Topics covered include Budgeting, Banking, Credit, and Investing.
- UHCM Scholarship Fund: UHCM awards 4-5 scholarships ($1,000 each) to high school and/or college students. UHCM also provides monetary donations to other scholarship funds.
Hunger/Homelessness:
UHCM assists several local organizations in providing food and clothing to hungry and/or homeless men, women, and children by:
- Providing monetary donations for the purchase of baby items and Thanksgiving Meals.
- Volunteering to serve meals to the homeless.
Health and Wellness:
UHCM is committed to providing education and support on issues relative to maintaining a healthy lifestyle. UHCM provides monetary donations to local foundations for clinical research and treatment of cancer, as well as senior citizen programs.
We believe our service participation will enrich the community for people today and future generations; and whatever small or big part we can play will have a positive impact on someone’s life.
